VAU Tort is a confectionery brand making custom cakes and desserts. We built a website that sells taste through the eyes and makes ordering effortless.

Confectionery is bought with the eyes. The site had to show the work appetizingly, provide clear ordering information (flavors, sizes, lead times) and keep the process simple — no lengthy back-and-forth.

We put the focus on high-quality, mouth-watering photos of cakes and desserts.

We structured the catalog by categories and occasions (birthdays, weddings and more).

A custom-cake website is first and foremost a gallery that makes you hungry, plus a clear ordering process. What matters: big, delicious photos, clear terms (how far in advance to order, minimum weight, delivery) and a simple form. The less friction, the more orders — especially in the holiday season.
